Why DeSo and not other chains?
DeSo offers many features structured around a decentralized social media that most other platforms like Avalanche, Ethereum, and Cardano, simply do not offer. We recognize DeSo has great potential and hope to build on top of something that many already consider great. Currently we are limited by resources and therefore have to strategically chose which parts of Webssey is built by us.
This is not to say we have a bias of prefer one blockchain over another, but DeSo is simply more technologically capable and is backed by many proven investors like Sequoia, Andreessen Horowitz, Coinbase, etc. than the rest.
The technical capabilities of DeSo has ground-breaking features like Hypersync, Storage & Indexing, and soon to be Proof-of-Stake. For our end users, this is not a large concern, but for our developers external and internal to Webssey, this is a huge opportunity we would not want to miss.
